Two guys who hit hard and have questionable chins?!! What's not to love about this fight. It will not see the final bell.

I dislike both, so whichever one gets stopped I'll be happy.... but Victoria doesnt have much of a chance.

Berto beats his ass and stops him within 8.

I won't be shocked if the fight goes the distance.

If Ortiz pussies up, and goes into a shell(which is possible) then I can see the fight going the distance.

If he fights aggressive, and tries to take Berto out, then one of them is getting stopped. Probably Ortiz.

Berto's handspeed is gonna be a major problem for Ortiz, and he'll probably walk into an uppercut he doesnt see coming.

But it is possible that once he feels Berto's handspeed, his heart will go and he'll decide he just wants to survive.

    On Berto-Ortiz:

Considering the recent upsets that we have been seeing, and the fact that Berto has fought so many bums to average guys, I think he may lose on Saturday. Berto can crack, but I think Ortiz can crack harder, and Berto's chin is not that great. What does everyone else think? I really want to see this Mark Breland #2 on his ass.

Calling it now! Ortiz by KO in 8!

On Khan-McCloskey: Khan by decision in a harder than expected fight.

I just don't see it Jack. Berto is much bigger and Ortiz seems a bit chinny. It's also hard for me to see a guy who struggled with Peterson beating Berto. I'd say Ortiz has a 20% chance of pulling off the upset.

I'm going with my gut since I'm still an Ortiz fan. I say he pulls off the upset KO in 3. The further the fight goes the better for Berto. Ortiz has to end it early if he has any shot I think. Even though Ortiz couldn't finish off Peterson, I think that he let his foot off the gas thinking he had the fight in the bag. I don't see him letting Berto off easy if he gets him hurt, knowing what's on the line. Plus Berto's chin is bad enough that I think one big shot from Ortiz will be enough to keep him down.

I see Ortiz having success for a few rounds before fading late. Berto will retain his title via decision.

I just hope Berto-Ortiz is a good fight. It could go either way with these guys.

Same here. I don't really care who wins. I just hope someone gets stretched.

I'm also hopking McCloskey makes things interesting.

BTW, what does Morales' recent performance against Maidana say about Khan's victory over Maidana? Anyone feel it actually takes away from Khan's victory?

I'm tired of Berto. For real. Step up or just accept you are the black version of Hector Camacho Jr.

I think Ortiz will get beaten up, dropped a couple of times then he will just quit in round 9.
Ortiz will have some good moments, but Bertos speed and power will be too much for Ortiz. After the fight he will say he doesnt deserve to take punches right on the nose, and that he will regroup and come back stronger.

    Khan will Stop the bum.

Ortiz is another junior welterweight coming up. He's a handpicked opponent with some name recognition. Therefore, I'll be really shocked if Berto loses this one. Berto may not be as good advertised but he's not that bad.

Ortiz has been undeservedly overhyped from the start. A past prime Morales faired much better against Maidana and he couldn't even clearly separate himself from Lamont Peterson. If Ortiz wins, it'll mean I gave Berto way too much credit.

  20. so are we getting berto vs khan or khan vs desert storm?
