I haven't watched these two or any women boxing in a long time. I really don't care for it at all except the occasional live fight.

I watched a dvd of these fights other day & have to say they where decent fights. Both women showed some talent. They deserve some credit.

“Killer Queen” Susi Kentikian (26-0, 16 KOs) successfully defended her WBA and WIBF belts and added the vacant WBO title by outworking previously unbeaten WIBF jr flyweight champion Julia Sahin (20-1, 2 KOs) over ten rounds. Kentikian was a non-stop punching machine, but Sahin showed her fighting heart to go the full distance. Scores were 98-92, 96-94, 97-93.

Unbeaten WBC/WIBF featherweight champion Ina Menzer (25-0, 9 KOs) edged jr. featherweight champion Esther Schouten (24-6-1, 13 KOs) by majority decision in a rematch. Their January clash was considered by many to be the female fight of the year. Menzer-Schouten II was even better. It was a very rugged fight with both women landing big shots and dealing out punishment. Schouten was the aggressor forcing Menzer to show all her technical skills. Schouten closed strongly, but in the end, scores were 96-94, 95-95, 96-94. With the win Menzer also picked up the vacant WBO belt. Will Menzer-Schouten be a trilogy?

The only gloves that women should put on are cooking mits.

Menzer is pretty good. I've seen a couple of her fights, was quite impressed, very technical and fundamentally sound.
